Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

Welcome to Fancy Rec for Mac. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy will inform you about how we handle your data when you use our application and tell you about your privacy rights.

2. Information We Collect

To provide you with the best possible experience and improve our application, we collect minimal technical information:

• Device model and specifications
• Operating system version
• Application version
• Error logs and crash reports (only when an error occurs)

We do not collect any personal information such as your name, email address, or IP address. All collected data is used solely for the purpose of improving the application's performance and stability.

Website conversion measurement

The application information above is separate from website measurement. When enabled, our website uses a random identifier stored for the browser tab session to connect the first public page visited and a broad traffic category (such as Google organic search) with download, pricing and checkout clicks. The identifier may be passed to Lemon Squeezy with checkout custom data so a verified new subscription can be attributed to that visit. We do not include email addresses, IP addresses, search terms, full referrer URLs or URL query parameters in these marketing event records. Browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals disable this measurement. Closing the tab ends the stored browser session; downloaded recordings are not part of this measurement.

3. How We Use Your Information

The information we collect is used exclusively for:

• Identifying and fixing bugs
• Optimizing application performance
• Improving user experience
• Ensuring compatibility with different devices and systems

4. Data Security

We implement appropriate security measures to protect the minimal data we collect. All data is anonymized and cannot be used to identify individual users.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Opt out of error reporting
• Request information about what data we have collected
• Request deletion of any collected data
